Farmhouse Ale: The Newest from Sacred Valley Brewing Co.

Over the years, Sacred Valley Brewing Co. has produced some of the best artisanal beer in Peru. Now, they are introducing their latest creation, Farmhouse Ale, that you won’t want to miss!

With a special design, Sacred Valley Brewing Co. has a new beer on their barrel collection, first was their Imperial Stouts designed by Fito Espinoza, now they take us to the farmhouse with a refreshing chardonnay barrel-aged beer.

How does it taste?

Farmhouse Ale is fresh and sweet to enjoy the last days of summer and the autumn afternoons while having a walk around Cusco or Lima.

This is a Belgian-Style Saison that has been seated a whole year on a chardonnay barrel. It’s done with their own grain hence “farmhouse”, a light sweet beer with a yeasty aroma at the beginning, on the glass is dark golden and cloudy. Once you taste it, you can feel the tropical notes, a blend that comes from the Saison and the chardonnay, a hint of pineapple stays in the mouth to finish on a bitter after-taste note.

Designed with representation

You can have this beer on the tap or by the bottle. If you choose the bottle option you will see the lovely art designed by Juan Carlos Chavez also known @Cake, in which characters portray a very whimsical view of the Sacred Valley. The cap is covered by a plastic seal which will keep it to age a little bit longer than a regular beer.

Where to try it

If you want to taste it, just go to one of Sacred Valley Brewing Co. locations all over Cusco or in Lima. Or when you book a package with us, we can add it to your itinerary.

Now, go out and drink well!
